Kipuke Ministries believes that providing for orphans should include a strong, Christian home life. This unique model places each orphan with a local Christian family who are willing to provide the love and care necessary until the child reaches adulthood. Due to the difficult economic situation in Togo the host families need support to make it financially feasible to provide this care for another child in their home. All the children gather together bi-monthly at the Kipuke Ministries Center in order to play, sing, eat a meal together and hear the Word of God.
The Women's Training program utilizes the Titus 2 model to provide holistic Christian care to young women by preparing them for life and work. The women choose between the sewing or hair dressing programs for career preparation, while also receiving core training in Bible, French and English literacy, mathematics, farming, cooking, health, and hygiene. This life changing training gives many women hope after coming from difficult situations including poverty, abuse, neglect, and forced marriage. The women graduate the program after four years with the confidence they need to find work and live productive lives.
