Ngaamba South-Secondary School
The community of Ngaamba is struggling to find a sense of life in the middle of desperate situations. Not only do they have little access to the things that meet their daily needs like food and water, but they are faced with larger issues in trying to help their community thrive. There are a number of orphaned and street children in Ngaamba. The people of Ngaamba view the children as the future success of their community, but they currently have no facility to house or educate these children.
BrightPoint for Children stepped in to help the Leadership Council find help for the most impoverished and needy cases. Several of the children who previously were in our Basic Needs program, passed the National 8th grade exam and were able to secure a spot in Secondary (High) School. These children need a sponsor to help pay their school fees, buy them uniforms and school supplies and the other necessities to complete a High School Education.
