Segera Mission Nursery School
The Segera Mission is located north of Nairobi near Mt. Kenya. It is truly an oasis in the middle of a rocky desert. The people of this area are very poor and struggle to grow any crops. Water is a major problem, and nothing grows. The children must herd any animals many kilometers each day to find grazing and water.
The Mission was formed to help these people, with medical needs and education and food for the poor. A man they all called "Pappy", had a vision to build this center, and he and his family have transformed lives. There is much left to be done, and you can help.
There is a Nursery School at the Mission, but they are struggling to provide the education plus basic necessities to the children who attend there. They need so much, and they understand that the children are the key to the future success of their community, so they need your help to keep this program a viable one!
