Strong Tower - GOA Home
The Naivasha Rescue Center (Strong Tower) is a program of Glory Outreach Assembly (GOA) to help the hurting and homeless children in this community. It began years ago as a feeding program for street children, orphans and abandoned children.
In 2007 with the help of 2 Georgia churches, the first home was built to house 24 children. It was dedicated in Nov, 2007 and 4 boys were brought in off the streets immediately. These boys need Basic Needs (food, clothing and adult care), uniforms and textbooks to go to school, and some of the older boys need to learn some type of Trade as they are too old to attend school.
The long term plans are for this facility to grow to care for more of the most needy children from the feeding program, and in 2010 this dream is being realized. A new dorm was built for 48 children, and more children are being rescued from the streets. Some of the boys had sisters, so it was decided to start admitting girls as well. The girls and younger boys are housed in the older building, while the older boys are in the larger new building
